Ostrom Outdoors Shipping Policy
Ostrom Outdoors offers free shipping on our canoe packs and barrel harnesses to most places in Canada. For our American customers, we offer a 65% subsidy on shipping charges.
We use Canpar, Purolator or Fedex. Please let us know if you require Canada Post/US Postal Service.
Orders are processed Monday-Friday and are shipped within 2-4 business days from the time the order is placed. You will receive an email with a tracking number so you can track its progress.
Local Pick Up
If you’re in the greater Thunder Bay area, it may be possible to arrange a pick-up of your product. This will depend on health regulations at that time.
United States Shipping Rates - SUBSIDIZED
We offer a subsidy of 65% for shipping our packs or harnesses anywhere in the mainland United States. You have the option of Canada/US Post (required for PO box addresses) Purolator Ground or Fedex Ground.
Shipping speed options and any extra shipping charges will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country.
OSTROM OUTDOORS is not responsible for these charges, if applied, and are your responsibility as the customer.
Shipping Rates for outside of North America - SUBSIDIZED
We offer a subsidy of $50 CAD for shipping of our packs or harnesses to countries outside of Canada or the United States.
You will see Canada Post shipping options at checkout. However, we suggest that you email us at bill@ostrompacks.com, and we will give you a quote on your shipping options before you place your order.
Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country.
OSTROM OUTDOORS is not responsible for these charges, if applied, and are your responsibility as the customer.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us, which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
Check your spam folder if you do not receive this email.
If you haven’t received your order by the carrier’s expected date of delivery (as noted in the tracking emails), please contact us at bill@ostrompacks.com with your name and order number. We will look into it for you.
Shipping to P.O. boxes
Items will be delivered to a post office box in a country where this type of delivery is available. Canada Post’s On-time Delivery Guarantee or the Money-Back Guarantee does not apply to items addressed to a post office box.
Refunds, returns, and exchanges
We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery if the item is unused and in its original condition.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at bill@ostrompacks.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition.
We address these on a case-by-case basis and will try our best to work towards a solution.
