Ostrom Outdoors Shipping Policy

Pre-Orders

A “pre-order” refers to those products purchased before the product is in stock.

We expect delivery of the canoe packs and barrel harness at the end of May 2021. And will be in touch with you if that changes.

Once we get the shipment in, we will process and ship your Pre-Order as soon as possible. You will get a notification when it’s shipped.

Regular Orders

A “regular order” is one that comes in once our products are in stock.

All orders are processed within 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

Domestic (Canada) Shipping Rates and Estimates

Shipping speed options and charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. 

Please keep in mind that, due to Covid19, our carriers’ delivery time estimates have not been very accurate. Especially Canada Post.

Local Pick Up

If you’re in the greater Thunder Bay area, it may be possible to arrange a Covid-conscious pick up of your product. This will depend on current regulations at that time.

International Shipping – United States

We offer international shipping to the United States.  

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. 

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country.

OSTROM OUTDOORS is not responsible for these charges, if applied, and are your responsibility as the customer.

International Shipping – Other Countries

At this time, shipping charges will not be calculated at check out for destinations outside of the U.S. and Canada.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us, which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order by the carrier’s expected date of delivery (as noted in the tracking emails), please contact us at bill@ostrompacks.com with your name and order number. We will look into it for you.

Shipping to P.O. boxes

Items will be delivered to a post office box in a country where this type of delivery is available. Canada Post’s On-time Delivery Guarantee or the Money-Back Guarantee does not apply to items addressed to a post office box.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery if the item is unused and in its original condition.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at bill@ostrompacks.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition.

We address these on a case-by-case basis and will try our best to work towards a solution.
