QUICK ADJUST - Simply pull forward on the straps attached to the pack. (We saw this design first at Taylor Statten Camps 35 years ago.)
TRADITIONAL MATERIALS - 1/8" Top Grain Leather with nylon straps.
QUICK ATTACH - Quickly attaches to 2 buckles beside the shoulder straps. (Only on Ostrom packs and harnesses sold since 2021.)

Our Inspiration
The Leather Tump is inspired by Bill's Dad, who introduced him to the outdoors and instilled a love of canoe tripping.
And by Yvon Chouinard of Patagonia, who introduced Bill (even though they never met) to outdoor ethics and rock climbing.
Both of these outdoors people used tumps to carry packs on radically different adventures.
